To traditional event, there is still more than five months, but organizers don´t sleep and confirm the first participant.

The largest historical aircraft will come to Aviation Fair

The Pardubice airport will host 27th year of Aviation Fair on weekend of June 3 rd and 4 th , 2017. Subtitle for this year is going to be “The Stars in the sky” again and number of historic airplanes powered by radial engines will be present. Undoubtedly the greatest delicacy, speaking of dimensions, would be the legendary Lockheed L-1049 Super Constellation, American four-engine transport aircraft. This elegant machine with wingspan of 37.5 meters and with its distinctive triple rudder tail is powered by four twin-row 18 cylinder radial Wright R-3350 engines with 2200 hp each. The one and only flyable piece in whole Europe will become the greatest historic airplane displayed at this year’s Aviation Fair.

“Also, while preparing the program for this year, we tried to invite some historic aircraft which did not appear on the Czech sky yet. We managed to arrange the visit of the Super Constellation, which we consider as a great success and appreciation of our work, because the aircraft operator is choosing from major European airshows where he sends its jewel. Furthermore the Aviation Fair visitors will have the opportunity to purchase a unique sightseeing flight in this beautiful machine. Experience the feeling of being lifted to the sky by nine thousand horses is possible just on board. The capacity is limited to thirty five seats and the true enthusiasts used the unique opportunity to fly in this plane over Czech countryside and purchased the first few flight tickets already.
